There is a very simple way to deal with sex. Find the right person, and enter into a committed relationship with them. If you are a person who needs to play around, well, play around. Do that with your whole heart. The Bible says to do things with your whole heart anyway. If you are ready to commit, commit, and do that with your whole heart. This is very simple. Anybody who has been in the military has seen a lot- the guy with 3 or more girlfriends, the married women sleeping around when hubby is away, the guy who blows his paycheck in 3 days around payday with women from the streets, and so on. Sorry to be so blunt, but that is real life. I grew up in the South. I was told early on that if you wanted to play around, go to the bar, if you want a wife, go to church. Mix the two, and problems result. Sex is an addiction for people who are totally into the flesh, and don't deal with the spiritual side of life, and sex. This is not my favorite book by Mike, it's a little too moralistic to me. Some people do need to play around, I've seen them. They need to drink from that well till it's dry, for them. Then and only then can they move on. People are people. Bush played around a lot more than Clinton did- he was just smart enough not to get caught. All politicians play around, especially the ones who claim to be Christians, who go to prayer breakfasts, and who come from the South. There are no exceptions. If our leaders are that way, why would we expect people to be much different? They aren't. I'm in a committed relationship, by choice. The Proper Care & Feeding of Marriage is useful, in this regard.
Excellent Book. Cuts to the chase. In it are timeless lessons for every young person interested in living pure . All should read, imbibe and practice. Highly recommended
